Every repair and installation we perform is backed by a written 12 month workmanship warranty. If the work we did fails inside that window, we come back and make it right at no charge. No arguing, no runaround, no hiding behind fine print.
This page explains exactly what the warranty covers, what it does not, and how to file a claim if you ever need to.
What the Warranty Covers
The workmanship warranty covers the labor we performed. If a spring, cable, opener component, door section, or piece of hardware we installed fails because of how we installed it within 12 months of the service date, we come back and correct it at no charge.
If any of those happen inside the 12 month window, call us. We correct it at no charge.
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
The workmanship warranty is on the labor we performed. It is not a blanket guarantee against every possible future failure of the door or opener.
1. Manufacturer part defects. If a part fails due to a manufacturing defect, the issue is covered by the manufacturer's warranty. We will help you file the claim and install the replacement part.
2. Damage from accident, misuse, or impact. A vehicle backing into the door, a baseball through a panel, strong wind damage, or operating the door against an obstruction are not covered by workmanship warranty.
3. Acts of nature. Storms, flooding, extreme temperature events, lightning strikes, and power surges are outside the scope of the workmanship warranty.
4. Normal wear and tear. Seal degradation from UV exposure, roller wear from cycles, and paint fade over time are expected with age and are not workmanship issues.
5. Damage from subsequent work by you or someone else. If you or a third party modify, adjust, or work on the door or opener after we leave, any resulting problem is not covered.
6. Pre existing conditions outside the scope of the original work. If we replaced a spring and six months later an unrelated opener motor fails, that is not covered under the spring job's workmanship warranty.
7. Cosmetic issues that do not affect function. Minor scratches, paint variation, or finish differences that do not impact how the door operates are not workmanship claims.
Manufacturer Warranties
In addition to our workmanship warranty, parts we install carry the manufacturer's own warranty. These run in parallel to our labor coverage. Typical manufacturer windows:
We hand you the manufacturer paperwork at install, register products where applicable, and handle the claim paperwork and replacement install if a covered part ever needs to come back.
