Pre war and early post war cottages (89101, 89104, 89106)
Huntridge, John S. Park, Beverly Green, and MaryCrest are the city's original residential neighborhoods. Many of these homes were built between 1942 and 1960 with detached garages or small single car attached garages. Original doors are almost always gone. Current setups are aftermarket replacements, sometimes mismatched to the opening. Common issues are undersized springs on oversized replacement doors, old chain drive openers past their useful life, and header framing that needs reinforcement for a modern torsion system.
Mid century modern homes (89104, 89107, 89108, 89109)
Paradise Palms, Alta Drive, Rancho Circle, and sections of the Strip adjacent neighborhoods were built from 1955 through the early 1970s in the mid century modern style. These homes often have flat roofs, carports converted to garages, and custom door openings that do not match any standard door size. Replacement doors usually need to be ordered from a dealer with access to custom widths. Scotch 80s and the historic estate districts (89102, 89107)
These are the original luxury neighborhoods of Las Vegas, dating to the 1950s. Custom wood doors, ornate decorative panels, and oversized openings are common. These jobs often require careful handling because the house itself has historic preservation value. We can match existing panel styles or source custom doors from the Clopay and Amarr custom lines.
Charleston Heights, Twin Lakes, Glen Heather Estates (89102, 89107, 89108)
1960s and 1970s suburban tract homes with standard two car garages. After 50 or more years in the desert, these doors typically need a full spring and cable service. This is one of the most common job types we handle in Las Vegas.
East Las Vegas and the Nellis corridor (89110, 89115, 89156)
More modest housing, often rentals or owner occupied tract homes from the 1970s and 1980s. Broken springs and off track events are the most common calls here. Pricing stays the same as the rest of our service area. There is no Las Vegas surcharge.
Northwest Las Vegas (89128, 89129, 89130, 89131, 89143, 89149, 89166)
Newer tract homes from the 1990s forward. Three car garages are common, smart openers are standard on newer builds, and the failure pattern is usually an aging opener or a spring at the end of its design cycle.
